The web can be all sorts of things to all sorts of people. The most interesting aspect to the web and it’s associated technologies is the ‘experience’ it can deliver right to your screen and with bigger and bigger ‘pipes’ those experiences can become richer and more indepth.
Papervision is an open source 3D tool for Adobe’s Flash platform that helps make even the coolest Flash based website look quite drull.
Check it out here, though be warned, while it’s well worth the wait, it can take a bit to load up. You can read all about it here.

Going to a hotel should be a magic experience but so few of them are…. that’s now the domain of the ‘resort’. Just what is the difference between a Hilton and a Hyat? all the rooms are pretty much the same.

As designers, we love the networking and exposure potential the web brings to us, unthinkable not all that many years ago. Social Networking sites like Flickr, Myspace and Facebook, allow the less savvy out there to do it easily (rather than building or implementing their own solution).
