Life is a small silly camera.

I have taken a real liking to the idea of carrying a small camera so I can grab those images that present themselves all the time when I’m out and about. I had that the other day when I went over to the National Gallery, where between where I parked and the walk to the gallery there were numerous great ‘images’ right for the snapping. Hokay, I’ll admit it, I really, really dig stuff like this; always have. Men in black jumping out of aircraft way up, with wings on their backs to glide behind enemy lines in stealth mode.

Hot Rods and Italian Design

In the first few opening minutes of Metallica’s documentary ‘Some kind of Monster’ James Hetfield roars down a Bay Area freeway in his bucket hot rod. He and his passenger sit awkwardly in the open wheeler, dangerous stick shift vibrating, chrome ‘German’ style helmets shining in the sun and noise roaring from the straight pipes coming right off the block.
