


It took me forever to get this right. A seemingly so simple an idea became a long drawn out process of working my way down my drawing ‘tools’ list until I finally got it right. It took me about 6 A3 underlays to get the line weights right, which really is very odd. I ended up using a Berol Verithin and then dropping in the darker, first with a felt tip and then with my trusty fountain pen (love it even more that I have Italian made Aurora ink running through it)
Anyway, got it done and I am happy with it as I have been working on this ‘style’ for a while as a proto to doing larger canvas’.

I know, it’s sorta lame, I should go and put these on some local walls (I know of some great spots too). For now though, while I’m busy still being soft, here some digital graf I did a few years back. I have dropped some of these on the Lab-Gear site on an off over time, so maybe it’s ‘website graf’?


I started just doodling shapes and ended up with this on the page as the first take. What happened next was a study in frustration…

The BISH!
Who or what is the ‘BISH!’ ?
BISH!, the character formerly known as the ‘Mig Pilot’ is a character that I have been inadvertently developing since 2005. Yes, I am as shocked as you are! Over time I just developed a very fond attachment to him as I continually kept on doodling him - it’s like some sort of weird obsession as he seems to make it onto everything I do!
