Meccanica is intentionally very old school and as the saying goes, 'Good things come to those that wait'...

Lab-Gear 'Meccanica' is a made to order process that naturally takes a lot more time to do than grabbing stock off a shelf and shipping it – we hand cut, sew and carefully check each and every Meccanica garment as it is ordered. If you really need the item right away, sometimes we offer 'Single Serve' (aka pre-made) kit for various styles but keep in mind that these items do not offer any design options.

'Single Serve' and Junior items are pre-made and ship within a few days of us receiving your order.

'Build Time' lets you know approximately how long it takes us to make orders. Below is how it works:

As part of our process you will receive the following emails to keep you up to date with your order:

• 'Order logged' email: This is an automated mail receipt that you receive after your payment has been accepted and your order has entered the 'Build Time' system.

• 'Order cut' email: This mail, sent by ourselves, lets you know that your order has been cut and we have sent it to our sewing shop to be made up.

• 'Shipped' email: This is the mail we send out once your order is back in our hands. Your order is checked, packaged and shipped.
