Lab-Gear ‘Military’

Over the years we have sold our Merino kit to all sorts of customers, many of which have been in various military forces around the world. Merino is widely recognised for its unique properties – ability to absorb and neutralise odours, efficient insulation (it’s a great thermal regulator in both hot and cold climates), anti-static qualities, and it is a naturally flame retardant material which smoulders and chars when it burns, tending to self-extinguish, rather than melting and ‘sticking’ like synthetic materials, or catching on fire like some cottons.

Lab-Gear now offers our ‘Military’ range – a small yet highly effective selection of Merino items that are a great addition to regular issue clothing. Based on our well tested designs, the Military range adds reinforcement in high wear areas and pays close attention to the little details to make durable, practical and comfortable kit.

We offer the range in several base colours only – Olive, Dark Moss Green and Coal, all with matching threads and badging to ensure they do not clash or create visibility issues for the wearer. As with other Lab-Gear products, we can also accommodate most special requests.
