: Mak'n shit up

Recently I was floating the web looking at stuff and it amazed me how many companies out there make names up for the fabrics they use. It seems rather odd in this day and age.

I’ll admit that way back when we started we did a little of it but quickly outgrew the habit. I mean, what’s the point of calling another company’s product something else just because you want to disguise what it is? These days when I see it done, it just reeks of someone trying to cover their tracks for whatever reason, I mean, if you are buying top quality fabrics there’s no need to call it something other than what it is – if there is a need to call it anything at all. If you are buying one of the many super-tech fabrics on the market, then you’re mad not to use the associated brand name.

I like calling a spade a spade.
